2008 Nominees for vpFREE Hall of Fame

Looks like the Hall of Fame voting starts tomorrow. With the new rules now in effect, no one will get elected unless they get 50% of the votes cast.
For this reason, maybe we should all hang together and vote for the most likely winner. To me that is TomSki. His Video Poker Strategy Master was a ground-breaking tool that I still use today.<<<

For those of you who are relatively new to VP, here as some comments about Tom Ski:

Tom has been on the VP scene for over 15 years. Before we had today's powerful VP software, Tom was the "go to guy" to analyze new VP games and EV contributions of specific promotions. Today's VP gurus like Jean Scott and Bob Dancer and other "pros" regularly consulted with Tom Ski. Tom is a low key unassuming person who had little interest in being a professional VP writer and therefore received little recognition for his VP expertise. His only published work is VP Strategy Master. From my own personal experience with Tom, in the mid 90's at my request Tom developed two programs for me. They were for Pic Em Poker and Double Joker. These programs allow me to play and analyze these games and gave me the tools to developed strategies. I still have these original 3.5 floppy disc .
In my opinion, Tom is long over due to being inducted in the VP Hall Of Fame.

I agree, and have already cast my vote for a most deserving man.
