2008 Nominees for vpFREE Hall of Fame

Looks like the Hall of Fame voting starts tomorrow. With the new rules now in effect, no one will get elected unless they get 50% of the votes cast.

For this reason, maybe we should all hang together and vote for the most likely winner. To me that is TomSki. His Video Poker Strategy Master was a ground-breaking tool that I still use today.

The 2008 Hall of Fame election will be conducted between 28
September and 11 October. A nominee who receives more than
half
of the votes cast will be the 2008 Hall of Fame Inductee.
If no
nominee receives more than half the votes, there won't
be an
inductee this year.

Between now and 28 September, additional nominees can be
suggested by vpFREE members (along with their
qualifications),
and the merits of anyone's favorite can be expounded
and
discussed. Any suggested nominee(s) who receive majority
approval
from the Administrative Committee will be added to the list
of
nominees.

I agree. TomSki has my vote.

In addition to creating VPSM, TomSki gets credit from Dean Zamzow for
making a suggestion that vastly speeded up WinPoker's game analysis
feature. And I, too, can personally vouch for TomSki's readiness to
share his broad understanding of video poker.

TomSki has come close to HOF admission several times before. I hope
he gets in this year.
