I do not intend to give a "Letterman" top ten but on reflection, I would
like to mention:
1. The loss of over 700+ FPDW machines from the Coast properties , IMHO, was
the most significant event in 2003 to the recreational advantage player at
the 25c level.
2. The general transition of now considering even or slightly negative
games coupled with the bounceback, cashback, etc. to make it a positive play. Our
expectation of what we will play has definitely come down a notch.
3. Cashback, persay, safe and sound in your account redeemable as you chose
is also fading. In its place are coupons, bounceback, e-mails, rewards
limited to certain days, inserted within the machine as part of your initial play,
and whatever other "cattle-call" notices require. This was the second fallout
from the Coast properties eliminating FPDW.
Thats about it as I look back on 2003. Ante Roz
