Was working on taxes today so did some calculations from my 2002 gambling
log. We "discovered" this group, Winpoker, etc. mid 2001 so 2002 was my
first full year of keeping a VP log.
Thought I would share the results. 6 trips to LV and several to the
Blackhawk, CO. Estimated play at 600 HPH. 90% on quarters and 10% on $1's.
Played 267,000 hands mixed between DB, FPDW and NSUD.
Hit 9 royals, none on dollars but one was on Nickels ( I don't play nickels
but was playing at Orleans and paused for a bathroom break, came back to my
machine where I was playing quarters and hit a royal on the 2nd hand. Found
out the hard way that these machines revert to the nickel denomination when
they are idle for a few minutes...argh!!!)
Ended up exactly 0.2% of amount gambled including cashback of the total
gambled for the year
Bankroll swing was -31.5% to + 228% during the year
Comps = 0.198% of total gambled.
I just found it amazing that with 10/7 DB EV = 100.17%, FPDW EV= 100.76% and
FPDW = 99.73% that my EV results were so close the theoretical.
