I received my very first royal
ever - I got another one about 2 hrs later, different machine.
One day at Texas I had two on the same machine - a couple of hours apart,
though.

Twice I have had 2 dollar royals 45 minutes apart on the same machine. The first was at the 4 Queens long ago, the very first day we decided to go from quarters to dollars, because of a very good promotion. We never looked back after that. The second one was at the Frontier, when they still had dollar FPDW.

By the way, Brad hit our very first $5 royal at Caesars tonight - that $20,000 makes up for a lot of pain we incurred on the $1 Multi-Strike there in the past. We had switched to $5 NSUD because we were not earning points fast enough on the MS to earn enough entries for a drawing we were in. We love MS but it is very slow on which to earn points and comps.

Actually he hit this $20,000 royal "just in time." We were going to quit playing at 5 p.m. because that was the end of the period to earn tickets for the drawing. He hit it at 4:57!!!!!

It would have to be a super promo, with no lower denomination games available - and there aren't that many around any more. Actually we rarely play $5 machines. We prefer multi-line $1 in Five Play. Only occasionally do we jump to $1 Ten Play.

Brad still plays a lot of quarter deuces, "messing around," he says, at the Palms. I don't have too much spare time for VP so I usually only play at higher levels.
