2 Consecutive Dealt Royals

I am just curious if anyone had heard of this before. Yesterday,
I was at the Diamondback baseball game against the Rockies. My
friend mention something unusual about video poker. The lady
in front of us heard our conversation. She could not help herself
and turned around to join our conversation. Eventually she
mentioned that once she was dealt two consecutive royal flushes.

She claimed it was at Harrah's Ak Chin in Phoenix. Maybe it might
be remembered at that casino. However, has anyone experienced, or
heard of, two consecutive dealt Royal Flushes? I am still waiting
for my first dealt royal.

Thanks,
Bob

Sounds like BS to me. Odds are astronomical squared against this.

Not exactly astronomical. Each time you hit a dealt royal the odds are 1 in
649,740 that the next hand will also be a dealt royal.

Cogno

Maybe she confused a Royal Flush with a regular flush.

I've never heard of anyone getting royals dealt in 2 consecutive hands,
but I did have 2 dealt in consecutive sessions last year. The first
was at Seneca Niagara on April 16 and the second at MSS on May 21.
Then the following day I had a royal on pickem at the Fremont. I doubt
I'll ever see anything like that again.

I don't think your presenting this properly. Getting two royals is key. The first one's odds against should be considered in this situation. So it would be 649,740 * 649,740 to one.
I would describe this as astronnomical. JMHO.

That would be the odds of getting two dealt royals on the very next two
deals, not the odds of ever getting two in a row.

Maybe she confused a Royal Flush with a regular flush.

Or possibly a Wild Royal Flush. I have heard many people stumble
over that distinction
