Finally settling in here in Vegas after a month. Hit the 9/7 DB prog at
Sams Town (5/8 mile walk now) Saturday. Was dealt 4 dueces twice in 4
hands on the FPDW carousel next door so a good day :). Should be at the
VPfree lunch again.

I know it will be torn down soon but has anyone really seen $1 WHA at
the Nevada Palace recently? Right next door to me but can find nothing
to play. Even those ancient Joker machines where you can't unhold a
mistake don't look too tempting. Luckily Longhorn has FPDW x 3 but
there everything is a hand pay which is annoying.

Nevada Palace has a decent Card of the day promotion. They have 25c
9/6 jacks or better as well as 8/5 bonus in several denominations

Are you sure about the 9/6 Jacks? The data base
says they have WHA in $1 denomination but I have never
found that game. I play the $1 8/5 Bonus every week
until I hit a quad for the $40 Bonus on their mailer
unless I hit the COD first. They also often have good
promotions for jackets etc. And the best birthday
bonus in Las Vegas. And their restaurant is
surprisingly good, if you like mashed potatoes; they
are so proud of them they practically insist you have

At the left end of the bar, there were 3 machines with JoB on them.
The 2 at the very end and one more just next to them.

I found 3 or 4 $1 NSUD machines along the west wall next to the 3/5 play machines. The upright machines with NSUD have the large displays.
