I have decided to become a member and start posting, as I have enjoyed
messages and find this an extremely useful group. We are both
Sagamores and have benefitted from the postings. We each got $150
shopping debit cards for March 18-20. Just an extra thanx to David,
and hope he is doing well in Vegas. Ciao

Nothing sent here (Sagamore), even with some heavy play ($20-30K daily)
lately. I received the $70K slot tournament offer. Maybe there is a
bigger debit card offer coming later on? Host indicated I was getting
close to Sachem.
I wonder if these cards are Mohegan's version of bounceback cash?

I am MS "worker ant" rated and got nothing.
Sachem Wife got nothing. She is pissed and wants to call host.
I tell her to just keep a low profile. I will probably lose.
She wants to go on Tuesday night and go shopping. We are going to see
Willie Nelson (and Merle Haggard) on Wednesday. Well worth a vacation
day-IMHO.
Maybe MS does a logic statement on the computer. Do not send to
database population that have called for the Willie Nelson offer the
next day?

I just got "promoted" from having host to VP of player Development, and
got nothing; neither did I call for Willie. Like I said, this type of
singular behavior is common in test-marketing.

I am Sagamore and live in CT and I did not receive any gift card
offer.
Not sure what they used as a criteria for this offer.
Also I had not been to Foxwoods since June of 2006 and they sent me
the offer for a free Raymond Weil watch. Which I did go pick up and
did not give Foxwoods any play at all. They probably will not be
sending me another thing any time soon.
I was also invited to the 70K slot tournament last Sunday but could
not attend.
I guess marketing just tries all sorts of offers and combinations to
see what gets the best results.
Personally I wish we had more of a choice in our comp offers. I get
offers to most of the shows and many of them I am either unable to
attend or have no interest in. I also never use any dining offer.
I prefer either free points or maybe the shopping card.
Also when they have a free gift givaway you only have a few hours to
pick it up, if you are unable to make it you lose it.
What are your thougts on this?
--I have found out that the debit card was sent to people based on
their theo. Your theo had to be around 600-800 and was not sent to
anyone higher than that. Just another marketing tool.
I really enjoy music so the shows are big benefit for me. I get to
see any show I want and get great seats. I would probably would never
get tickets for them otherwise. I would also prefer points or debit
cards instead of gifts but have gone down several times if the gift
is something I want. Ironically, I went down for the Bose radio and
had an hour to kill before picking it up and hit a royal on JOB.

Hey Mel, Your Royal's not ironic - Its sweet - it these stories that
reinforces my feeling that the "Law of Big Numbers" is working on
Mohegan's Ballys, IGT .... machines. haaljo in Boston
