The data base for Orleans shows LDW 12/8 at 99.2%. Is that percentage
correct? I come up with more around 92%. Is that pay schedule really an
advantage game? And is it really LDW? I'll be in the area in a few days
for a week...YA-HOO!
12/8 LDW-newbie question
The data base for Orleans shows LDW 12/8 at 99.2%. Is
that percentage correct?
Yes.
If you click on the LDW link on the Orleans page it takes you
to the paytable: 1-2-2-3-4-08-12-25-500-800 ... 99.16%
I come up with more around 92%. Is that pay schedule really an
advantage game?
It's not a positive game, it's a 99.16% game.
And is it really LDW?
Yes.

You most probably have your payoff for quad deuces set at 1,000 coins
instead of the proper 2,500.

There is a bank of seven (7) machines in high limit hooked to a $5 progressive. The best game appears to be the 15/9 variant of the NSU paytable known by many names: pseudo NSU, Airport Deuces, and Illinois Deuces.
