I work with an Army Reservist who just came back from Kuwait. He told us that last summer, temperatures well above 130 were not uncommon.
He's glad to be back home.

Clinton was here in 96, I estimate there was only about 7500 at the
downtown government center bldg. Bush will be in Las Vegas on
