Read the buttons carefully to get the
sequence down.

Also on the bottom of the screen itself is an area where you can select any
number of hands and coins to bet. Some of the buttons limit you to a pre-set
number of hands, 10 - 15- 25, etc.

We're going to FL this weekend. I haven't seen
anything posted since they first opened. Is there any
update on the best play? Any info on comps? My
recollection is that drinks are not free.

Thanks
Joel

$5 8-6 Jacks. Mail is ok, with the .25% cb it gets you even on the
game. Unless you're playing for gourmet room comps (supposed to be
good), total wheel spinning otherwise.

8-6 Jacks or Better in $2 as well

Thanks for the update. That seems a bit better then
when the first Racino opened.
You mentioned gourmet room comps. Does any of the
Racinos have a hotel?
Anything playable at $5 DDB? My understanding is that
the Indian Casinos (Hard Rock) is Class II while the
Racinos are Class III.

Thanks
Joel

As reported previously, best in SFL is a $1 Spin 9-7 DB at Mardi
Gras/Pembroke with basically nothing on the front or back end. It's
tough for the racinos to offer FP, you have the track, the racino
operator and the state all after a piece of the pie.

What's going to be interesting is what happens after the Seminoles get
Class III; it's inevitable. It's going to be hard for the tracks to be
competitive with a place like Hard Rock, which can offer a Vegas-style
resort to its patrons. As it is right now, the racinos aren't doing a
lot of business, while Hard Rock and Mikkosukee do quite well.

The expectation is for a deal with the Seminoles to be
announced in the next few weeks. The result will
likely be a lowering of the tax rate to the State Run
Casinos to make them more competitive (the agreement
with the Seminoles will be significantly less then the
50% tax rate the state run casinos are paying) while
some exclusivity on table games for the Seminoles for
a period of time.

Hi,
I just got back from Fla and went to check out the new
Class III gaming at Pompano.

Nothing was full pay. The best I could find was 7/5 BP
and 9/5 DDB.

The Casino is smoke free and has a nice coconut type
of smell. Drink are not free. It cost me $8 for a
mixed drink. Valet parking was $7.

They are running a promotion where they will reimburse
new card memebers up to a $100 on a loss on that first
night. You can pick up your money anytime in the next
30 days.

I put 50K+ plus through the machine. I returned two
nights later to pick up my $100 (I lost over 4K) and
spoke with a host. I asked about a comp to the Italian
restaurant or Steakhouse. I was denied the comp but
offered a comp to the buffet, which I passed on. We
then left and went out to dinner.

This was my one and only visit to Pompano unless
things change. 98% games, no cashback, no comps, no
drinks, pay to park.....
