100-play quads

<<The thing you are complaining about is two clicks away from vpFREE,
and doesn't even use the word "Thanksgiving." The closest it comes is
an brief oblique reference to the Mayflower and Pilgrims, and that's
one sentence way the heck down in the 4th paragraph in the middle of 6
long paragraphs about fall/autumn in general. Furthermore, the
profanity is not directed *at* the Mayflower or the Pilgrims.
So it seems to me that you had to go through a fair bit of effort to
interpret this as an attack on Thanksgiving, which makes Cogno's
remark pretty on target.<<

I can't disagree...not only does it take a couple of clicks to get to the
"offending" article, but to interpret it as a "war on Thanksgiving" is
really a stretch.

To get back to the original topic, I've taken a shot at the 100 play
machines at Gold Dust West here in town...the best results so far have been
being dealt four to a Royal and winding up with three Royals on the redraw.
(And once I wound up with 8 sets of four aces after holding a single ace.)
The highest denomination I've had the stomach for is .02.

Is that Carson or Reno? (Or Elko although no one ever talks about it)
Wow 3/100 Royals on a 4-card..roughness!

Getting 8 sets of Aces in 100-play holding 3 Aces is about a
1 in 27 chance.
Getting 8 sets of Aces in 100-play holding 2 Aces is about a
1 in 2 billion chance.
Getting 8 sets of Aces in 100-play holding 1 Ace is about a
1 in 40 quadrillion chance, which is less likely than getting dealt back-to-back-to-back royals.
Wow!

Was recently in Vegas for a high school class reunion, the Perfect 10 Reunion held on of course 10/10/10,(class of '64-6+4=10, born in 46-4+6=10, celebrating 64th birthday-6+4=10) and visited M Resort. Was dealt a king high straight with 10 through K diamonds. Held the 4 to the royal. Drew 2 royals and 7 straight flushes. Not bad for a birthday celebration.
