100 play nickels and progressives at MS

As of noon on 2/8/05, quarter progressive was $1230 and the dollar was about $4125.

I played the 100 play nickel NSUDs in Mike and Don's quite a bit the last 2 days. I was thinking about all the talk about the machines not giving very good flops and my mind was thinking of how I wasn't getting any deuces on the deal and hadn't hit 4 deuces in almost 14,000 hands. I was then dealt 3 deuces and filled it in on 4 lines, playing 15 lines total. I had 3 deuces dealt 4 times total and filled them in 4,1,2 and 0 times for a total of 7 hits out of 60 attempts. Pretty good. I ended up playing about 20 thousand hands, mostly 15 play. I also had a royal and make about $100.

I was going to track dealt hands but quickly gave up that idea. I might make a sheet that lists all the possible dealt hands and then keep tracks of the flops. If I use a simple NSUD strategy card, there are about 50 possible hands. If I do this on my next trip, I'll post the results.

The key is that you were playing 25 hands or less. Most people
including myself have noticed that at 25 hands or less the frequencies
of dealt hands (such as 2+ deuces) over the long run are quite normal.
The problem exists for 100 play at which the frequencies are way off.
