100 MS at Mike and Don's, sample size, etc

The sample of 100 play I did last week is small but there is still some useful information in there. If you just want to compare the means between under 25 line and over 25 line, you have a pretty good comparison. To see if 2 means are different, you don't need a whole lot of samples to make a judgement. Like a lot of things, more is better. Also, the occurrence of a deuce in a hand is a fairly common event so you need less samples. I'll have to dig out the quality engineering books and look over the sampling sections in order to quantify the results.

I'm hoping that others will be motivated to include their results. I am going to change to file to include the win/loss for a section for people who don't want to count deuces. The original hypothesis was that the machines don't deal fairly above 25 lines. I thougth counting deuces would ba simple way to test this hypothesis. I'll continue to add my results to this file. If you want to send me results from these machines, I will include in the file. Comments are welcomed.

By the way, the quarter progressive was at $1050 and the dollar was at $4500
