One would be wise to check beforehand. Some blackjack tournaments will
issue a W2G at $600. One locals casino (Rampart, I think) even advertises a
"Tax-Free" tournament with a low buy-in, first place is $599. I can't
verify if winning between $600 and $1200 will cause a W2G, my wins have all
been somewhere around $500 for low-rent tournaments, or well into 5 figures
which did, of course, cause a W2G.

more has to do with live poker tournaments.Tournament won't issue W2g for
an amount less than 600x buyin.
