I have written a computer program for you students of 10/7 Double
Bonus Video Poker; I hope you will give it a try. It has been said
that if you want to learn about something, write a book about it (or
a computer program). Recently, I studied 10/7 DB strategy and wrote a
program to practice it. I have used Video Poker Tutor - which shows
the perfect play for each hand; but, what is missing is which play on
the strategy chart That hand is. In my program, you hold the cards,
then are told the correct play to make according to the chart. You
may also change the hand by drawing new cards to each position. I
first learned Jacks or Better from Lenny Frome's "Expert Video Poker"
so I use his abbreviations for hands (ex. SFLDIH2). Please see my
web site at www.geocities.com/jlsherwood (Vegas page) and download my
program. Like VP Tutor, it is DOS based that runs fine in Windows.
No fancy graphics, but it is very playable. See also the cheat sheet
used in the program which is based on Bob Dancer's "10/7 Double Bonus
Video Poker".
