Along the same line, playing 10/7/80 DB using 10/7/50 DB strategy
returns 100.5118% (versus 100.5187%). With a coin-in of $3500 per
hour, the expected cost is $0.24 per hour. Doesn't seem like much.
However, if you "work" 30 hours per week, this translates to $375 per
year. But this can be greatly improved with only a few adjustments on
playing R3(no Ace), SF3-1 and SF3-0 hands, the trade-off is a slight
increase in the game's variance.
BTW, the Reno Atlantis removed their only bank of 10 $.25 10/7/80 DB
machines last month. The two $1 ones (right side of stage) remain.
The Reno Peppermill still has $1 ones outside the Fish Bar, and I was
told that The Nugget at Sparks also have these in $1 (I did not
confirm).
Harrah*s Lake Tahoe had $1 10/7/80 DB 'til last December, they were
removed during their remodel and never reappeared.
