I am a new student of video poker. I understand the positive
expected values and have played the FPDW for that reason. I have
noticed some 10/6 DDB games, but I can not find what the exact
return percentages for optimal play. The machines just say over
100%. Does anyone know the exact percentage?

Yes. It's between 100.06% and 100.07%.
As you can see, 10/6 DDB is positive-expectation, but not by much.
Its variance is also sky-high. If you do not hit anything higher
than a full house, you lose VERY quickly. Since 10/7 DB and FPDW
both return more and have lower variances, I would only advise
playing 10/6 DDB if:
1) There is a special promotion where all quads pay double, (very
rare)
2) You need to play at a particular casino, and this is the only
positive game available there, (not likely) or
3) You just feel like taking a gamble and shooting for one of those
quad jackpots. (Probably why most people play DDB)
