I think this is as paranoid as vegasvpplayer's post about preserving
"the play" of the NSUDs there. Other Coast properties have had
machines that are at least approximately this good for years. I'll
take the past (6:00 PM) and the under (4 backoffs) and a 2-team parlay
with both.
Well, the first comment was meant for the board, the second meant for
the Admin. While I could have been clearer about this, I was a little
surprised to see this in print.
Let me put it this way: I don't see this paytable lasting long. I also
see someone who is known to be a skilled player coming in, playing a
4-6 hour session, gets one W2-G too many, and gets backed off. Maybe
it's different under Boyd, but it's still the Coast management
principle at work.
While I'm here, I'm really impressed with the work Boyd did, and as
you can see, they offer a reallly great, competitive product to the
locals. I can see some business being siphoned off from GVR (I would
see more if they had a hot pool scene).
In other news, I've discussed doing a website in the past. Looks like
it's going to happen soon, I'm talking to a designer. Oh yeah, it's
going to be free. Stay tuned.
