All $1 2's wild were removed today at a casino here in S. Nevada.
They were in place for about 6 weeks. The casino had no slot club. I

Well we know what happened here. Players were ignoring them and not
giving the deuces on these multigames any play. Any decent merchant
pulls merchandise before it starts to rot ... ":)", just in case
it's not clear ...

These machines did NOT get that much play. I was there a few times,
played about 4 hours each visit. I rarely saw anyone playing them. I
played different times but never in the evening.
Unfortunately, the staff and some customers are quite nosy. One
customer practically yelled out my credit total (which had gotten up
to $1900 after hitting 2's twice). I tried not to draw any attention
to my lucky streaks by not cashing out any of these large tickets until
the day they changed the pay tables.
I only heard of one RF (other than the one reported on this forum)
and the last day someone hit a .50 RF.

From all indications, it seems very unlikely that they were removed due
to abuse by any pros!!

I know Bob Dancer and some other pros play at night - I wonder if night play was heavier and just not reported on the list because no one checked much in the middle of the night.

I agree...I was there twice played about 8 hours total and never saw
anyone playing the deuces at the dollar level. All the players were
at the $.01 or $.05 level.
I didn't hit anything on them...for 8 hours, I guess its only half a
cycle below expectations for the deuces.

Instead of getting removed because of abuse, they were removed because
of lack of abuse... I really don't think that was the case.
I think it was because of the lack of profit (among other things).
The only people who would risk playing at the $1 level are pretty much
expert players. Like Jean mentioned, I wouldn't be surprised if they
were coming in during the wee hours.
Put yourself in Rainbow's shoes. If you owned that joint, would you
have $1 FPDW? Probably not.
With that being the case, what do YOU think are the most "profitable"
VP game(s) for the Henderson-locals market and at what denomination?
Just a question out of curiosity.

From what I saw and heard, I don't think so. I have a friend that I told
about this play early on who is in his mid 70's and does not sleep well and
made four trips out there between 1 & 4 in the morning, no Dancer sightings.
He did manage both a 4K royal on the FPDW and another one on the short pay
$DW progressive for $6,800. His reports were the same as everyone else, few
players and the ones that were there were playing keno.

I heard from a pro that on one day about 10 days ago, 3 royals were
hit while said pro was there, and multiple sets of two. Although the
game probably did not get much play overall, it still got enough to
be unprofitable and with Rainbow being a small place, it was promptly
pulled after about six weeks. Good luck. TomSki
I'm not surprised at the result. The Rainbow does not appear to be the type of place that would draw dollar players.
I believe the most profitable VP in Henderson is probably the 10 coin quarter FPDW at the Fiesta Henderson.
