Here are the details on the Senior Ride Program - discounted taxicab books
for Clark County residents. Participants must be 60 years of age or
permanently disabled. If you are permanently disabled, you must bring a letter from
the physician stating this and must be a full-time resident of Clark County.
To register go in person to 3100 West Sahara Suite 103, Las Vegas, NV --
Mon-Fri 8am to 430pm. Bring NV photo ID or other proof of residency and date
of birth.
Once registered, you send a business size (#10) self-addressed stamped
envelope for every coupon book with your check or money order. You currently can
order up to 6 books a month (they just increased this). Books cost $10 and
contain $20 worth of cab fare coupons. Current coupon books have an
expiration date of Dec. 2007 I believe. You must use books before expiration date.
So if you want 4 books, you send them 4 SASE and $40 and you get $80 worth of
taxi coupons.
