On one deal this weekend, I kept a 2c 3c 5c (and tossed an 8 10 of nothing). For the first time in my experience, I hit
nothing on the draw. No paying pairs, no straights, no flushes. Nothing. I stared at the machine for a moment thinking
either it had malfunctioned or I didn't really hit the draw button. Then I realized what had occurred. I suspect the odds
of this occurring are very high.
No paying hand from 2c3c5c 8 10 is 946/1081. 0 for 50 is (946/1081)^50 or about 1.27 out of 1000.
