What's your favorite VP game?

Oh I see now. I didn't know that "6-7-8" game was a Sigma, and I have heard so much about those. Apparently they were around before I got into VP.

Good point about the OEJ. I have never tried it, though I guess I should have tried it while Sam's Town had theirs. I knew they were pretty high variance and since they were said to be so difficult I did not bother. I did work on those Sam's Town DW machines they had next to them. Those were fun, and I worked out the strategy pretty well. Oh well, that's history.

Thanks for the input.

8-7-6 was a Sigma paytable, good luck finding it.

8-7-5 is a Bally's payable (99.07), you might be able to find it on some old GameMakers (try Caesars AC)

10-6-5 is fairly commonplace in SoCal and less so in Vegas (Rampart, Suncoast). It's one of the toughest games to play out there. Which kind of reminds me, I'm surprised I don't see more 99.98/100/28 OEJs out there. OEJ makes JW2 look like child's play.

Years ago, my friend and I discovered an old Sigma that a
casino returned to the floor after years of sitting in storage.
It had the 8-7-6 paytable. The correct strategy indicated that
sometimes a single non-penalized middle card should be held. One
day I held the 7c and got a SF. The $250 payoff was a significant
one at that stage in my VP odyssey and remains a fond memory to
this day!

I remember people looking for them even 10 years ago. That was before
mt time in VP as well. And the old All Americans too. Wow.

I remember Lenny Frome writing about the game. And I even saw a bank in Palace Station. At the time I didn't have bankroll or the strategy.
