I dawned on me today that you when you say my posts are "misleading"
you might mean that your reaction to what I've said is "that isn't right,"
and when you amend that to "very misleading" you might mean that your
reaction is "that CAN'T be right." Is that a fair assessment?

No.

I never made the amendment. I said the following, which includes a <G>:

I'd like to amend my judgement of "misleading" to "very misleading",
but I won't because it might not be mathematically precise. <G>

AND, I never said that your "posts" are misleading.

I said the following, about one phrase, in one post:

and is only optimal for those who are totally indifferent to risk.

Well, yes.

Another, and less mis-leading way, to have said that would have been
"and is only optimal for video poker players who have an adequate
bankroll for the game and denomination they are playing".

                     **************

The only other thing I have to say about this on vpFREE is that I don't
know if "totally indifferent to risk" is a mathematically precise term
or not, but I do know that in plain english terms it is misleading to
use that label, in a vacuum as you did, to include video poker players,
who do consider and evaluate risk.

IMO, whether or not your phrasing was misleading is semantical in nature,
and not very important in the overall scheme of things. If anyone wants
to continue this "misleading" thread, please do so on FREEvpFREE and I'll
respond.

It is my policy, and has been my practice, to confine my vpFREE posting
efforts to administrative and informational posts. I got off-track recently
in defending and revising the playing strategy entry in the Dogma, but now
that it has been mathematically sanctified, I'm returning to my preferred role.
