Request Regarding The Wiz's Ultimate X Strategy

nevermind, both formulas are right, mine has a bias (a win on all outcomes), once you take that out (to find the strategy) the formulas are identical

10/7/5 DB strategy gets you within about a quarter-percent of optimal
for UX 9/6 DDB, which isn't what i'd call "good", but is a hell of a
lot better than most people will play this game.

i suspect i was within a tenth-percent of optimal when i played, using
a significantly more complicated strategy, but i don't really know.

cheers,

What the heck, I'll even go out on a limb and propose a simple generic ultimate x strategy for non-wild games:

(Basically, full houses, flushes and straights are more valuable than in the base game, if you know 10/7/5 DB strategy, that's pretty close)

Please lets not be posting this kind
of work directly in view of the watching
eyes of the enemy.

By all means work on it. Share it with
friends privately if you like. But if the
casinos see the Wizard of Odds work that
implies that it is too tough to analyze, let them
believe it.

I don't wish to discourage information exchange
among those who play VP for fun or seriously. I'd
just like to see a little common sense. keep the
juicy details on private emails.

Sure, casinos could impersonate a player via
online actions, but if someone brand new suddenly
starts digging into cutting edge stuff, one could
simply ignore that particular request. Make the
enemy work, not lurk.
