Highest you can play with an advantage in LV?

O.K. Thanks, Manuel. Guess it was a little too subtle for my over-stressed brain when I read it the first time (around 1:30 in the A.M.).

Hey Neil,

I was confirming, like Barry - w/o being "too obvious", that there are indeed "good" machines still available and they are spread out in the previously mentioned location.

Tks,

Sounds like you want to be the monitor for Showboat (and perhaps another casino) and be responsible for updating the database.

Why don't you send the monitor an email offering your services. I am sure they will be grateful.

Good news. Now, when someone else can confirm this can we PLEASE get the database corrected and not wait months as usually happens?
The database still shows 10-play 10/7 DB at the Western Village in Reno. It's been gone for years.

Kelso,

If you're suggesting that I monitor the sites, I'm flattered but must decline.

I thank you for the consideration,

I was there March 16-17. The 8 machines were moved to the area near the promotional kiosks, which is in a non-smoking section. I saw the machines, but they are currently not in service. I don't know when they are supposed to be put back into service. As far as I know they will still be 9/6 but I couldn't say for sure.

In the meantime, there is a single 9/6 JOB machine in the high limit section, towards the center. It is a $1/$2/$5 machine and unfortunately this is in the smoking section.

Hello all,

I regret to inform our East Coast VP community that the 4 machine 9/6 JoB carousel at Showboat's House of Blues entrance has been taken out of the property in order to make room for "entertaintment section expansion'" - as per Showboat's employee.

Does anyone else know of any other FP machines here at Showboat AC? Otherwise may have to stop coming by :frowning:

Thanks,
-- Manuel

The $100 FPDW was real, have you checked to see if they put it back yet? In credit play mode (no stopping for handpays or taxables) it could have been worth around $2,300 per hour (1000 x $300 x .0077). Of course, the Kelly bankroll would be over about a million dollars ($300 x 26 / .0077). Doesn't hurt to have the bankroll of a Microsoft billionaire to be able to play such a game.

i played this machine last friday night. unless it has been changed in the past week, it is - and has always been - a $1 and $2 machine only. the adjacent machine is, however, multi-denomination @ $5, $10 and $25... but is short pay.

As my original post mentioned, I was there on Sat 3/20 and found the same machines (.25) you mentioned, spread out in that area of the floor. At the time, only 1 machine was out of order and therefore, there were a few still available so I sat and played away, for hours.

I believe there were other "lost souls" wandering about - most likely as disappointed as I was when I first noticed the section by the HoB had been done away with.

Good to know there's also a $1+ machine there, in case I hit it the .25 Royal and feel like going for a pot-shot!

Happy Playing!!

$100 JoB machines at Wynn are a slight +EV play - after factoring in buffet comps and cashback.
