Hard Rock $1 and $2 NSUD Spin Poker - PLAY DEAD

For those who think the suits are aware of EVERY paytable on EVERY
machine on their floor you really need to study up on how this
works. In this day of multi/multi games, there are literally tens of
thousands of paytables on a slot floor. These machines are set by
humans and humans make mistakes. These mistakes sometimes lead to
very profitable situations. And when these types of mistakes are
posted they are almost ALWAYS killed within a couple weeks, if not
days. There are too many examples to list but some still believe
this is a coincidence. Sheesh, some will never pull their heads out
of their XXX, er, sand.

On behalf of vpFREE I'm glad to accept the responsibility and
credit for any unpublicized game that may have disappeared
because it was outed on vpFREE. vpFREE believes in the free and
open exchange of information and would like to see all attractive
games shared with all members.

However, I don't believe that vpFREE deserves to take very much
credit or that many games have been removed because they were
outed on vpFREE. Not that many games get outed on vpFREE, and in
most instances their removal probably occurs because of abusive
play that was happening for some time before the word got to
vpFREE.

Also, I doubt if very many vpFREE members ever play, or look for,
unpublicized games. I've been playing video poker on a regular
basis (over a million coin-in per year) for over ten years from
25c through $5 denominations and I've never played an
unpublicized game or a negative situation.

But, anyone who out's a play may end up being responsible for lowering
everyone's EV who happens to be aware of the play. If you don't care
(it's not my responsibility ...), then you may not place the same
meaning to "responsibility" that some of us do.

vpFREE believes that the free and open exchange of information is vital and
beneficial to the video poker community as a whole, and is dedicated to sharing,
promoting and preserving all attractive games that can survive and prosper in an
open market environment.

It isn't in any vpFREE member's best interest to help protect an attractive,
unpublicized game unless they are playing the game themselves.

What if they don't? Would it still be "proper?"

Yes. I stated what I would do and what I would like other people to do. I am not putting
anyone under any moral obligation to do so.

Doesn't "proper" mean that it's a moral obligation?

Why be
altruistic to the masses and not to the pros?

Note that I stated "I do not think that I have to be altruistic", neither to the masses nor the
pros.

But you just wrote that it's "proper" to be altruistic to the
"masses."

"Religious" is a better word than "naive."

I don't understand "religious" in this context..

..... bl

Some people believe that homosexuality is wrong, even assuming it has
no negative consequences. This belief seems to be based on the simple
idea that "God said it." "Intrinsicism" might be a better word. You
wrote that plays "should" be told to everyone without giving any
reason why. It's this separation of morality from practicality that I
call "religious." Did "God" tell you that plays "should" be told to
everyone? Did that come out of thin air? Or did you mean that
society as a whole gains when plays are shared with everyone? Or do
you believe you gain when you find a great play and tell everyone
about it because enough people whom you tell will reciprocate?
