You are a seditious traitor, first and foremost.

If you see a problem you constantly come up with meaningless,

about it.

People like you ignore the problems, as

The problems are there, I voted, and I accepted the results. THAT's
what counts. You and your crying and whimpering mean less than
nothing to everyone.

The travel industry is a highly competitive industry. A small increase in seat occupancy can make a major difference in the corporate bottom line. Many groups can arrange for promotional discounts and fare codes, if the carrier believes that the increased business from a particular group would add to their bottom line. This is a business, not a political decision on the part of the airline. Whether one is gay or not, gays do make up about 10% of the population. Using the Las Vegas market as an example, getting a good chunk of the gay business by an airline is sound marketing strategy. As you may be aware, marketing directed as particular segments of a population has been going on for years. Unfortunately, intolerance of others has also been going on for years.

Here's another ridiculous idea/adventure being created by liberal-to-
the-extreme America West Airlines. Instead of coming up with a huge
money-making idea like installing real video poker computers on the
back of the seats of every seat on the airplanes, what do they choose
to do? A discounted fare for queers. Yup. Trying to be politically
correct once again has landed these fairies yet another opportunity
they wholeheartedly do not deserve by any stretch. The next thing
will probably be free flights north for illegal aliens. From ANY
country through Mexico. Even Syrians.

Are you trying to be corny here or what? Giving discounts to homos
not only is idiotic, it encourages a mile-high aids club to be

It's a flat-out stupid liberal idea by a queer at AWA.

I went to the America Worst web site and found no evidence of such a

Homosexuality is not perversion. It is just an alternate life style. Even the AMA says this. The amount of pedolphilia is no higher among gays than among straights. Even though I am single and neutral on the matter personally, I detest name calling and bigotry. The courts of most countries have accepted homosexuality as a legitimate life style, and as long as those involved are adults, conducting their sex in private (and this applies to straights, too) they are not "perverted" or any inferior to those who practice straight sex, or abstinence. What I think is most comical is that fooling around with the heterosexual spouse of another is tolerated, despite legal vows otherwise (marriage, partnership, etc) while a single gay person of legal age is criticized for having sex with another uncommitted adult. This same ridiculous argument was made about racial inter relations many yearsago. No one asks any one to be straight, gay, or celibate. uour not agreeing with their lifestyle makes it "perverted" to you. that doesn't make it "perverted" to others.

As you may have noticed I have avoided in my posts the name calling that I see in so many others, but have only replied on the subject matter, even if controversial. That is fine. I may not agree with the actions, in or out of bed, of many others, but if they are of legal age, and not harming others, I am not going to call them "perverted" just because I don't agree with them.

Please telll me something. I am aware that you are the author of a book about video poker that
differs with the mainstream thought on the game. I am also aware that authors of books receive royalties from the sale of these books. As you are aware, there are gay video poker players that may have purchased your book. I am sure that you are not going to ask the bookstores that sell your book to refuse service to gays, and I am also sure that the money received from them that goes to you spends just the same as money received from any one else.

I have a policy of not berating the poster, but only replying to the subject, but sometimes I wonder?
I am a travel industry professional, have worked in the industry for 19 years now, and am well awareen profit ane of promotions, fare codes for group discounts (air/bus/rail) , convention fares orders, and marketing.
The concept that airlines use is revenue per seat mile. A small increase in this can make a considerable difference to an airline. Putting bodies in seats is the key, along with yield management. Whether gays constitues 5%,8%,10%,15%,20% of a given population iissue. The issue is the dollars they spend on airfare. If AWA feels that having a promotion to encourage use of their airline will help bring in revenue, that is a marketing, not a political decision.

As for the mile high AIDS club, get realistic. This is horsemanure. I fly a lot, and I have yet to see any evidence of sex in an airplane, of any kind. I am sure it goes on with very long flights at times, but connecting gays on airplanes with the spread of AIDS is so nonsensical as to not even need a reply. When I sell tickets I do not ask peoples sexual orientation, marital status, who they slept with last night, if they use a condom, practice abstinence, or anything else. It is a business transaction and nothing more. I even tell tickets to reactionary people and have probably sold some to Nazis and the KKK. As long as the are not preaching to me or forcing their beliefs on me, what they do in the voting booth, the bedroom, is their own business and will not affect my ability to give proper customer service. If my employer decides to market to a specific group with a promotion I will still give good service to those who qualify for this promo, even if i personally don't like the idea behind it.

I can deal with your views on Video Poker as over the short term, standard deviation shows that anything can happen, and many only gamble for the short term. This is OK and is a viewpoint that can be espoused and a method of play, though I disagree with it, I understand it. But I will not tolerate bigotry under any circumstances, and an attitude that your way is superior and ther ways are perverted. I think replying is often a waste of time and I ask the others who have replied to some of these prejudicial postings and those that defy logic to privately email me to think if it's worth wasting time answering blatant prejudice and illogic.

political decision on the part of the airline. Whether one is gay or
not, gays do make up about 10% of the population. Using the Las
Vegas market as an example, getting a good chunk of the gay business
by an airline is sound marketing strategy. As you may be aware,
marketing directed as particular segments of a population has been
going on for years. Unfortunately, intolerance of others has also
been going on for years.

Are you trying to be corny here or what? Giving discounts to homos
not only is idiotic, it encourages a mile-high aids club to be
formed. Which might not be all that bad, especially if it reduces
that 10% number down to zero. It has nothing to do with economics.
It's a flat-out stupid liberal idea by a queer at AWA.

I went to the America Worst web site and found no evidence of such

a fare promotion. Maybe you need to be on their gay mailing list to

get it. Huh Rob! So, do you still love me or have my rejections
finally taken hold?

You couldn't find a dead body in a Vietnam morgue.

How much do I know? I'll help you out. I know fags are mutants of
society and deserving of nothing but a good dose of the disease they
have no second thoughts about spreading around. I've heard it changes
that fairy lisp they seem to all talk with, into a chirp. Can you
verify that?

Homosexuality is not perversion. It is just an alternate life

style.

Queers are perverts. Look at Rosie O'Donnell. Then work your way
down. If you can stand it.

Even though I am single and neutral on the matter personally, I

detest name calling and bigotry.

Just how do you think homos feel about straight people? You actually
believe they like us? The only thing faggot guys like about us is
what's between our legs.

  The courts of most countries

have accepted homosexuality as a legitimate life style.

Do you live in the USA or what? Who cares what Sweden thinks of
queers?

and as long as those involved are adults, conducting their sex in

private (and this applies to straights, too) they are not "perverted"
or any inferior to those who practice straight sex, or abstinence.

So you enjoy the thought of 'normal sexual relations' as LeRoy and
Harry take turns donging each other up the ass? That doesn't sound
just a tad perverted to you liberals? Maybe you ought to have some
big daddy squirt up your butt a few times and then get back with us
on this.

Please telll me something. I am aware that you are the author of a

book about video poker thatdiffers with the mainstream thought on the
game. I am also aware that authors of books receive royalties from
the sale of these books. As you are aware, there are gay video poker
players that may have purchased your book. I am sure that you are
not going to ask the bookstores that sell your book to refuse service
to gays, and I am also sure that the money received from them that
goes to you spends just the same as money received from any one else.

I don't get involved with any of that. If a queer buys a book of mine
then I don't want to know about it. They make me sick, and I didn't
write books to get sick.
